Maddi Obi
Rooted in themes of nature, medicinal plants, and a profound connection to place, my work invites viewers into a world where organic forms and subtle symbols reveal deeper meanings.
Evolving through an intuitive, playful process, my practice blends collage, printing, and materials from the natural world. Whether pressing leaves as stencils or layering patterns and textures, each piece becomes part of an ongoing exploration—an experiment in form & connection.
Inspired by the cosmic and the microscopic—from the structure of river systems to the veins in leaves and the motions of ants—I draw connections between the universal and the intimate. My art is both playful and intentional, inviting curiosity, conversation, and a renewed sense of nature’s importance as both a collaborator and a teacher.
